BRIGADORE PARM DI PECORA
Produced in Sassari, Sardinia, Italy from 100% Sheep’s Milk using the same production methods as Parmigiano Reggiano. It is very similar to other Sardinian “Sheep Parmesans” such as Gran Sardo and Gran Cru. It is aged for 20 months and has a sweet, milky taste that is unique for a sheep’s milk cheese ! BRIGADORE has been described as “addictive” by those who have had the opportunity of sampling it ! The texture has the same crunchiness as a well aged Parmigiano. Its flavor is rich, nutty and slightly salty with a mild, fruity/herbal finish ! Excellent with a drizzle of Traditionale Balsamico or simply with a full-bodied red wine !
