Our “Grandma-Style” Taralli are produced from an original recipe brought to the USA from Puglia, Italy by the Grandmother of our local baker ! Baked in the “Baresi Tradition”, our Taralli have a little more “snap” when you bight into them. Deliciously crunchy & very flavorful, you can consider them a refined version of a pretzel ! First boiled and then baked which produced a nice smooth/shinny crust, which is different than our Imported version that are only baked. Although Taralli are common to several regions of southern Italy, they are taken to another level in Bari, where bread is revered. You will not find a bread shop in Bari that does not sell taralli ! Our baker takes pride in this tradition & these Taralli are made “fresh-to-order” & are packed in 10# boxes & then picked up from the bakery.
