This is the result of an ancient recipe that provides for the use of the best varieties of bitter orange (chinotto), which come partly from Liguria, a small region in north-west Italy, and partly from the island of Sicily. In addition to the Chinotto peel, we use seventy other herbs for a blend of natural Chinotto and aromatic herbs along with Galvanina mineral water, some cane sugar and some caramelized sugar.
