“Piccolo Canestrato” Moliternino
This classic Sheep’s milk cheese from Sardinia, is produced by the Master Cheese Makers from the Villecco Family. The cheese is aged in straw baskets (“Incanestro” style), resulting in a lovely textured rind. During aging, the cheese is rubbed with olive oil, to ensure a moist and succulent paste. Full-flavored, rich and savory with a hint of sweetness, Moliterno is a royal addition to any cheese board.
