The history of Havarti begins with a farmer’s daughter who originally produced a cheese called Havarthi. This soft, creamy cheese, with plenty of eyes, is now one of Denmark’s most beloved products. St. Clemens Havarti is a washed curd cheese with a ripened interior. Its smooth feel and creamy color contribute to its mellow, almost herbaceous flavor.
