Fig & Almond Cake
Handmade in Spain from a family recipe passed down from generation to generation.
This wonderful item is known as Pan di Higo; this “cake” actually contains no flour.
It is a traditional combination of Sundried Figs, Marcona Almonds, Anise & Cinnamon.
EL TORERO Fig/Almond Cake has become extremely popular in the USA as a Cheese Accompaniment or a delicious snack ! In Spain it is often topped with a sliver of Manchego and served with a glass of Sherry !
